Bloweri küsimus?
That's true, and for the same reason the smaller LSA helps against detonation by leaking some cylinder pressure out at lower rpm. The Blower engine will not be in my car, it will go in to a '72 Charger. It's based on my old block and pistons and I built the heads and gathered some information for it. It should still go through the engine dyno before getting in to the car.

I was just about to ask where it will go! Block is 440? Crank?

Any estimation of the output?

If you have the time, could you type the specs and other stuff? Very interesting to all I guess.. :smokin

it's kind of a low buck build and has many compromises. The block is my old 440 with a 440 crank, six pack rods and ROSS pistons. The CR is 6.5:1, it's pretty low but should work well. Heads are '906's, they are ported to flow about 270/200 cfm at 28 hg and have 2.14/1.81 valves. The cam will be a hydraulic with 240-250 degrees at .050" and a little over .5" lift and 108 LSA. The blower is a polished 6/71 that will have 6% overdrive; should produce 10 psi. Carbs are two 3310 Holleys, ignition is MSD with about 15 degrees centrifugal advance and 38 degrees total. I have no predictions about the output, but I figure it should be about 600 hp.

Crank up the boost! :)

With 6.5 and 6-71, 30% overdrive on pump gas! :)

On koinand mitmetel foorumitel ja pole täheldanud, et kellelgi 302cid mootor 6-9psi laadimise juures laiali oleks lennanud. Mõtlesin täiesti stock mootorit. /.../ Keskmiselt üks kahekümnest kompressori installijast kasutab üle 9 psi laadimist. Ega tava kitte üle 9 psi keegi teine tuntumatest ei teegi peale ATI. Tava kompressorite turbiinid ise kestavad 25-35 psi.

Juhtusin just lugema midagi mis selgitab Stangi ja LT1 f-body erinevat suutlikkust ülelaadimist taluda:

Surveaste:

5,0 -> 9,2:1
LT1 -> 10,5:1

Ülelaadimine teatavasti nõuab madalamat surveastet või paremat kütust (race gas). Muidu kipub detoneerima ja mootorit lõhkuma.:(

Üle 9 psi on juba vahejahutiga asjad. Vahejahuti ise võtab aga rõhku vähemaks.

Oluline on ka eelsüütenurk (detonatsiooni vältimiseks).

jyrki: Compression ratio must be pretty low on pump gas, if you intend to use even 9 psi boost. 6.5:1 with 10 psi of boost trasnslates in to about 10.9:1 CR in a naturally aspirated engine.

Is there any possibility to calculate the boost psi needed for 9.0:1 compression engine, to translate it equal to 10.0:1 in a naturally aspirated engine? Quite low I quess, but Im just curious.

To: Blue, kas Mustangile on ülelaadimist oodata? :)
